Didn't know that. Thanks!

As any iPhone aficionado will tell you, the iPhone's camera isn't much kop. There's no flash, zoom, red-eye reduction, image stabiliser, editing capabilities...frankly, there's not much of anything. As a result, it can be difficult to take a decent photo. Here's a quick tip for taking a sharper shot though...
First, make sure that your subject is stationary and well lit - do this and that's half the battle won. Now all that can defeat you is a shaky hand.
Tapping the Shutter button causes your iPhone to jolt. The effect being a wobbly shot. What most iPhone photographers don't realise, however, is that the iPhone doesn't snap an image until you take your finger off the Shutter button. So for much greater stability - and, thus, far fewer shaky shots - keep your finger pressed down on the Shutter button while you compose the shot...then, take your finger off the button to snap it.
Job's a good 'un.

Neat tip! I wonder if the Shutter button was specifically designed to work like this (i.e. "take photo on release" instead of "take photo on press") or whether this is just the result of a "happy accident"?

Now I know why I can never take a decent photo on the damn thing! Cheers :-)
