Downloading web pages on your iPhone over an EDGE connection can take forever. So if you're frequently forced to browse this way, here's a site that's worth bookmarking...

It's called www.google.com/gwt/n and it's the gateway to a bare-bones, super-fast version of the interweb, that's been specifically created by Google for people on slow network connections!

Play around with it and you'll immediately understand the benefits. (Bonus tip: Hide graphics to make things even faster!)

Sure, websites ain't too pretty when viewed this way, but they do load darned fast - and, after all, when you're browsing the web via a slow connection, that's all that really matters.
