I've just moved my games icons and news icons on to seperate screens. Really useful. Thanks!

The iPhone's standard Home screen is only large enough to hold 20 icons. That's more than enough room to display those relating to essential functions like your Phone, Email and SMS. But once you start installing programs from the App Store, space soon starts to run out and your poor old Home screen starts to get pretty cramped.
How can you alleviate this problem?
Simple: Make some more Home screens and spread your new program icons across them. Here's how...
To enter "Home-Screen Surgery Mode", simply hold your finger down on any icon until all of the icons on the screen begin to wiggle. At this point, you can rearrange them by dragging them around the screen into new positions. (As you'll see, when you drag one icon, the others shift aside to make room for it.)
To create an additional Home screen, drag one of the wiggling icons to the right-hand edge of the screen and hold it there for a moment. This will cause the first Home screen to slide off to the left, leaving you with a new, blank one, where you can deposit the icon.
You can create up to nine Home screens in this way - giving you the freedom to organise your programs by category, frequency of use, colour, or whatever else tickles your fancy.
It's also worth noting that you can place an icon on the Dock if you want to - thereby ensuring that it will appear on all of the Home screens you've created. You just need to make room for it first by depositing an existing Dock icon somewhere else.
When you've got everything where you want it, press the Home button to stop all the wiggling.
You can now move from Home screen to Home screen by swiping across the current one horizontally. Or if you'd prefer, you can tap to the right or left of the little dots located at the bottom of the screen instead. (In case you're wondering, the little dots show you where you are among the screens.)
A final word of advice: If you end up making an almighty mess of things, just tap Settings...General...Reset...and finally, Reset Home Screen Layout, and all your meddling will be undone. Don't worry, you won't lose any programs you've installed by doing so. This function consolidates all of your programs, displaying them 20 to a screen. (So if you'd put ten programs a piece on four Home screens, you'll wind up with only two screens packed with 20 icons; and so on.)
