Caring for your gloves
Our gloves are designed to be as durable as possible. However, they are primarily a fashion item and need caring for in a manner consistent with other fine knitted products. Here are some tips for keeping them in the best possible condition:
Laundering
To keep your gloves looking and feeling great, be sure to adhere to our laundering guidelines.
Pilling
As knitted garments get older, "pilling" can start to develop—that is, fuzzy little balls can start to appear. (You'll no doubt have seen this on old sweatshirts before). You may therefore notice some degree of pilling as your Etre Touchy Gloves age. If so, fear not—it's easy to remove. All you need is a "defuzzer"—which you can obtain (from as little as £2 GBP, $3 USD or €2 EUR) from most hardware/haberdashery stores and supermarket chains.
Pulling
To protect your gloves' thumbs and fingertips, don't tug on them when taking them off. Remove each glove from the cuff instead (in a similar fashion as to how you would remove a sock). In other words, fold the cuff back to reveal the glove's coloured lining and then pull it gently over your hand, so that the glove turns inside-out as it peels off.
